HERBS FOR THE SKIN AND BODY

This list is designed to help you find a natural herbal cream, lotion or oil for some skin problems along with other ailments.

Since skin problems are a major cause of problems for pets, this list is included to help you find a herb for a particular reason. This list also includes some non-skin related problems.

The list below sometimes refers to a product name rather than a herb itself. Example: Rain Forest cream uses herbs for the rain forests.

Although you can find many herbal products that have these herbs in their creams, lotions or oils, I prefer the products made by Ferlow Botanicals. Ferlow Botanicals only use the highest quality ingredients and they use no harmful chemicals. They really do make "natural products".

As always, diet plays an important role in preventing and eliminating problems. Serious skin problems should always be addressed by a veterinarian, preferably a holistic veterinarian.
